Genesis 1: 29

Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. NIV

Knowing what I know about the healing properties of essential oils, I am convinced that these plants, flowers, fruits, seeds, trees, roots, bark, and sap are on this earth for a much grater purpose than most people will ever realize. 

I am a very spiritual person, and I know many people that believe in the bible, no matter what it's translation may be. So I guess what I am getting at is this. We as Christians know Jesus healed many people throughout the bible that is no question, but when it talks about the anointing with oil, what is it exactly?

Well this is what it was:

The holy anointing oil described in Exodus 30:22-25 was created from:

Pure Myrrh (מר דרור mar deror) 500 shekels (about 6 kg)

Sweet Cinnamon (קינמון בשם kinnemon besem) 250 shekels (about 3 kg)

*Cannabis or Sweet calamus (קנה בשם keneh bosem) 250 shekels (about 3 kg)

Cassia (קדה kiddah) 500 shekels (about 6 kg)

Olive oil (שמן זית shemen sayith) one hin (about 5 quarts according to Adam Clarke; about 4 liters according to Shiurei Torah, 7 liters according to the Chazon Ish)

*There has been claim that cannabis and calamus are completely different plants, and many claim that it was indeed calamus used. I, however am convinced it was Cannabis. After all of the research I have done, the miracle THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol found in Cannabis is what was healing people. Many can argue this fact with me, but I know in my heart this is true. Yes, I believe Jesus to be the Son of God, and that alone made miracles happen, I just also believe that right now in this day in age Jesus does not walk with us on earth, but Cannabis, Myrrh, Cinnamon, Cassia, & olive oil do!! And people are being healed of horrible things as we speak! And even though Frankincense is not mentioned as part of the healing oil, I know that it is one too. 

My prayer for all is Health an Healing and the understanding of the plants God has provided for each and everyone of us...To bad the God given plant Cannabis that has the properties to heal EVERYONE is illegal, and many will die before they get a chance to see it heal them. Until then I am so grateful for all of my dōTERRA oils, because for now they will be enough. Aloha-Angie
